Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 2, 2026
1.Our Commitment
Chromyne (operated by Nazam LLC) is committed to making our app and website usable by people of all abilities. We target conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549, the standards referenced by the EU's European Accessibility Act (EAA). This statement describes where we currently stand, not a claim of full conformance.
2.Known Limitations
We audit the Chromyne mobile app against WCAG 2.1 AA on an ongoing basis. As of this statement, we know of the following gaps that have not yet been remediated:
- Color contrast: some small text does not yet meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required by WCAG 1.4.3.
- Dynamic Type: the app does not yet fully support iOS/Android system text-size scaling in all screens.
- Reduced motion: some in-app animations do not yet respect the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
- Status announcements: some asynchronous state changes (such as analysis progress) are not yet consistently announced to screen readers.
We do not claim conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA while these gaps exist. This statement will be updated as each item is resolved.
3.Remediation in Progress
The limitations listed above are scheduled for remediation. We prioritize fixes that affect the ability to complete core tasks — uploading a photo, reading your results, and managing your subscription — first.
